In this debut episode, find out why I've decided to start a vegan food company.
That's right, me, with zero cooking skills or food industry background - crazy right?
Well it started with an idea that's been nagging me for ten years:

You've heard the cliches...
- Talk is cheap!
- Actions speak louder than words!
- Be the change you want to see in the world!
- Just do it!
Well, those have been circling in my mind for quite some time...
See, right from the first days I stopped eating meat, dairy, eggs etc, I've wondered why there weren't more foods and snack options for us vegans.
In the last few years there's been an increasing selection, which is good!
But too often they are expensive (enough with the ten dollar vegan cheese!) and full of exotic ingredients that often, at least to me, just don't taste all that good. Like in chocolates, no offense dark raw quinoa puffs, you're no match for what I remembered Maltesers used to taste like...
I became vegan all those years ago not because I prefer super healthy food, or to because I didn't like the taste of those old snacks - I do!
So I've wished always that someone would recreate them or better. Kind vegan options that don't involve the cruelty of the animal agriculture industry.
So... well, at the start of this year I really started thinking more about what impact I could have.
I've done a bit of vegan activism in Hong Kong and lesser extend in Melbourne and supported some other projects, and I've come to the conclusion that the fastest way to make change happen is through great food alternatives.
So these two thoughts collided and just wouldn't get out of my head (like, wake up in the middle of the night and think about them)
So, that's why I decided to give this thing a shot!
Let's see how it goes...
